The Lookout was founded by Lydia, a full-time North Fork local and experienced short-term rental host who knows firsthand what it takes to keep a second home running smoothly.

After managing her own high-performing Airbnb for years (and doing just about everything short of officiating a wedding), Lydia realized how many homeowners needed more than a property manager they needed a real person they could trust.

She’s shown up at midnight with a spare key to save a couple on their wedding night. She’s driven out on July 4th to refill a propane tank so guests could keep their BBQ going. She’s watered plants, welcomed guests, handled last-minute repairs, and kept homes spotless, often before the anyone even knew there was an issue.

The Lookout is built on that same level of care: thoughtful, dependable, and always local.
